    Old shots

    Here's a Library of congress site that has shots from the depression era and WWII from the FSA and OWI. We've all probably seen some of the BW FSA shots - there are a lot of color shots as well. Some of the work goes way beyond the documentation intended by the programs because of the talent of the photographers.

    It's not the easiest site on which to view pics, but worth the effort I think. A lot of pics so I'm going back exploring once in a while I think.

    Great site, haven't checked it in awhile. Because they're in the public domain, you can get nice original prints. I've looked for the famous image of the migrant farmer but never found it...

    Just found it here. Funny thing is that I searched it a few times on their site and never found it. I googled it, and there it was... Just like dealing with the (insert your favorite governmental agency here)! ;)

    Actually it looks like I can download a 55mb scan of it and print my own 16x20...
