    Talking Obsenely Long

WARNING: NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART:blush2:

What is your longest prime lens, 300mm? 400mm? 600mm? or maybe 800mm?

If you have really DEEP pockets and want to blow a cool $100,000 or so on a used lens: How about a Canon 1,200mm EF F5.6L USM, or a Nikor 2,000mm F11 Mirror, or a Canon FD TV 2,000mm F11 Mirror, or a Canon FD TV 5,200mm F14 Mirror.

Check out these lenses and more at www.yamiya.com.my/blog/?p=87

Hey, Honey where is the credit card?

    Re: Obsenely Long

I was laughing with my friend at her grandson's wedding about carrying around my little ole 200m and how people really think you are some kind of photographer when you have anything more than a P&S -- ha, if they only knew!!

If I saw somebody carrying around one of these babies, I would be in awe -- they would have to be technical AND physcial giants!! Would these be sensor(y) overload??

Husker Bill: I see why you "sensored" this thread. Yeah, that was a bad joke.

I, also, would be impressed if I saw you carrying around a 200 meter lens. :-) TF
