    NY Rooftop Party Shot...

P-J, I got the 12mm - 60mm in time for the NY Auto Show! I can't post any of my show shots from the press days, but I can post this one from the Kia party. Really digging the lens. I'll go back to the auto show for myself during it's run and post some of my personal work.

I still need to peruse the Help files, but is there any hope for a CF card that even Photo Rescue can't access? I had fortunately backed up the card before it corrupted, but there are a couple of shots missing that I'd like to try to access.

Try one of Don't Panic!, RescuePro (Lexar), Photorecovery (Sandisk) or Zero Assumption Recovery.
All have been great for me over the years.

Excellent! Thank you, I will try those. It's a Lexar, so I will try their software first.

    I like the silhouette image.

If those are corrupted Olympus RAW files on the card you may have more trouble recovering than some other types. Try Bad Copy Pro as it has a low level file read and reconstruct if the Lexar software can't put it back together. Or at least if there's a JPEG that was stored along with the RAW (.ORF?) specify to recover only the JPEG files. It skips all the other headers in most of the Data Recovery programs and just tries to grab the JPEG data.

The person point in one direction, the scope shadow pointing the other way and the water in the middle make for a fun shot!

    Love It!

Great layered photo, Megan! Congratulations on the 12-60mm lens, too. I love it and I think it makes an especially good tradeshow / event lens. It should serve you well.

Just in case you missed it, I shared your Acme Bowler camera bag review as a Featured User Review:

    Re: Love It!

Thanks, yes, the lens is pretty versatile and I had a good show. I did notice the featured user review as well, and shared it on FB.
