And now, what my wife gets...

    for her birthday...an iPod Nano!

This thing is so small, it's incredible. Now she can download her favorite songs, strap it to her arm, and listen to music while she goes for her walks!

Nice....its a good little toy, but its too small for me. I think I would end up losing it. I prefer my old 2nd Gen. IPOD.

    They're pretty cool, aren't they?

I've had my black 4G nano for about a week now, and I'm pretty impressed. In addition to the great player, I have to say I really like the iTunes software. Had me ripping tunes from my CDs to my PC and then to my iPod in no time flat.

Ah, but now the real fun begins with the gazillion accessories available for the iPods. I've got this funny feeling I may end up spending more for these than the player itself.

So far, I've only gotten the FM transmitter/car charger so I can play it in my car, but I can already see a few other things I'd like to pick up...

very cool. I saw one yesterday and I have to say I like it better than the shuffle. it feels more substantial - less fragile. very nice!

I've handled/used all the models of iPods out there (never owned one personally) and I tend to stray towards the iPod Mini and older full sized models. The Shuffle and Nano are too small for me.

Two way street, isn't it! ;)

I've had my eye on the Nano since it came out. I-Tunes is really easy to use, even for me!

    Turn about is fair play!

Glad you made good for her.

It also helps grease the wheels the next time you want something...

Re: And now, what my wife gets...

Thanks everyone for your comments. I think I'm having as much fun with this thing as the wife. I've downloaded a couple contemporary Christian cds for her like Stephen C. Chapman and Casting Crowns. Also put a few of my very own guitar compositions in there for her to listen to as well. Now all I have to do is sort through a few boxes from our moving to find a few more cds to add. What a neat little toy.

Speed, I'm afraid I've got so many toys that I want that my wife might end up shaking her head at me. Let's see, I want a Minelab SD2100 gold detector (plus accessories of course), a Canon 10D or 20D, a Canon EF 17-40L lens, a Mini Cooper....ah, the lists goes on and on, hehe.

A friend of mine bought one of those things and she loves it. She takes it everywhere, and she calls the change pockets in her jeans the "Nano pocket" just like Jobbs did in the video. Best thing about the Nano though is that she gave me her Shuffel when she bought it...

those things are so cute. and yes, that's how I shop, by the cuteness factor. Good thing I have someone to balance that out.
