    no phone, no internet ...

    I went away for a few days

    Cell phones didn't work, forgot the battery charger of my computer, good thing the ipod could be charged on the car .... we depend so much on electronic stuff

    Yes I had the charger for my cameras batteries

    Need to catch up on work

    In the mean time here is how this place looked in the mornings


    One day I went for a run and found this view, came back the next day with my camera


    The lake "Santa Maria del Oro" is at a volcano crater

    Will post more later

    Wow, incredible shots there Armando.

    Nothing wrong with 'getting away.' I think to do your best work, this is critical.

    I have two batteries for my Nikon D700. I could probably do an entire week-long trip w/o a charger.

    I really like the deep, rich green field.

    Oh, and how did you get that slightly 'burnt' look on the black and white photo's edges? Is it an easy procedure?

    Just a click away, it is a nifty little trick I just found on silver efex pro (b&w converter)
