Hahaha.....I know everyone thought it was a new camera or lens....sorry to disapoint, however, this junky ole thing should get me some really good photos.... one way or another If it's just getting me to a place to shoot or crashing down a hill it should make for something interesting.

Some minor body work (so it doesn't fall off) and it's ready to Rock & Roll!

That looks like a blast! I could have some fun with a truck like that, right up to the point when I have to pull into a gas station. I love the "custom" rear side window!!! A little duct tape and some camo paint and she's cherry!!!

Yeah, it's beat up, but it runs great and can go about anywhere. Where it's going no ne cares what it looks like, just whether it will run.

Wow John I hope your not planning any long road trips. That's what my son referes to as a beater. Something just to beat around in and you don't have to worry about where you go or what you get into.

That's the East Bay in you, Rick. Oaktown style! There's a Too Short song about making droptops by just chopping off the top. I had a friend with a 69 Valiant with a sawzall sunroof :-)

Dont need a sawzall for that truck. The roof already can be removed on Ramchargers of that vintage.

Whew, long day playing with 4x4's that and making plans for trailer construction. A 36 foot trailer to haul two 4x4's on! This could get interesting!

Yeah, the top comes off on this one, it's a 78 as we found out after looking at the title. It has an 86 front end though. Mechanicaly it is sound, runs great other than a vaccum leak from a cracked intake...no biggy.
And NO spinners on this thing! lol It will get some new lights though. Gas mileage is really good in it (thats a joke) as it has 5:38 gears and has jumped a creek with it's mighty 318, climbed some really big hills that others couldn't so I guess I'll be ok. I only have to do some body mount repair to make usable. At present there are only 2 body mounts holing the body on! A new floor is order I think.

If we can't get to put spinners on it, can we at least get neon lights and LCD screens in the headrests? A photographyreview.com symbol on the side?

I have a 97 Dodge 2500HD and that can pull a house so pulling a 36' trailer is no problem.
Nope, no neon lights. There may be an LCD screen or two, but one will be a laptop for the GPS and the other a TV for videos.
