    New Pup

    Shes a pure bred Boxer.

I named her "Laila" after Mohammad Ali's daughter. I always wanted a Boxer and I told my self that i would name one after a professional boxer. Laila Ali was the only pro female boxer I knew of off the top of my head.

Her she is at 2 months..

What a cutie!!! I had a little female years ago and she was one of the best dogs I ever had. Mine was wonderful with the little kids, too. Enjoy her!

A lovely wee boxer! Since she's on a leash though, you might get better pics if you kneel down, so you are more on a level with her.

    Re: New Pup

I walked a new dog at Christmas with my sister, a 14 week old Border Terrier, only it's second outing in the big world. Passing cars frightened it and as for chasing a ball - the running part was OK but then it didn't know what to do within it.

I like the pictures except that - the out-of-focus effect on the feet makes me feel seasick. I'm not a big bokeh fan, sorry.

Then you should be happy to know that your Nikon 1 camera has little to no bokeh capability whatsoever! ;)

    Re: New Pup

This is the best one that I got of the little chap. He doesn't stand still for long.

This was done on the APS-C D200 with 18-200. I knew that I was going to be doing a few serious photos at Christmas so I look the right material (including powerful flash). Gave me a backache carrying it around all day, though. I can see the usefulness of something lighter but right now, none of the hybrid cameras fit my needs (including the 1 series).
