I found this article about the history of digital photography with photojournalists. Thought it was interesting and some of you might enjoy it. This ancient history goes back some thirteen years or so! And to think some of you guys complain about wanting another 2mp of resolution! We're spoiled!

Thanks for the historical information, they were great. Having worked in the spy satellite business, that's where most of our technology came from. Before encrypted transmissions, satellites or "Birds" had to splash down and the navy ships or subs used to go retrieve them. That's where digicams came to play and that's where secure online encryption came from.

That's really cool. My first digital camera experiance was in high school. The school had picked up those early kodaks (not the N2000) but the ones that where flat and wide, and looked like macro-binoclars out of Star Wars it was interesting to work with.
