I made the terrible mistake of buying the AW100. I should have stuck with Canon...I took it on vacation and after one week the paint is coming off of the buttons and the camera randomly fogs up. After sending it off to be serviced they claim that this is "Normal" and wont do anything about it.
Your shots turned out pretty good but they are still a bit soft especially considering the light they were taken in. This camera just doesn't have the quality that should be expected from a big brand with this much reputation.

I think his photos are soft because he didn't use unsharp mask after resizing. I'm actually trying to finish up an AW100 review and I think it's the best rugged waterproof P&S I've used - and I've used most of them. Here's a gallery of my AW100 photos:
It sounds to me like your camera leaked. It does not sound "normal," though. I didn't use the review camera I had in the water much. I dunked it a couple of times just to see if it would work but that's it. I did have it in the snow a lot, though. So it did get plenty wet.
I am curious about the new waterproof Canon, though. I thought the original one was way too big, although the image quality was quite good.
