Need idea on bully photo WARNING: bad language

    Hi All,

I posted this photo quite awhile ago. It's of a young girl who was bullied. We did this photo as an exercise. These were all the things a group of girls were telling her every day at school for almost a year.

She is ready to exit counseling and the counselor would like a photo to show where she is at now.

There is also a teacher at her school who would like a follow up photo to use when he speaks on the topic of bullying throughout my State.

Any ideas on where to go from here? We would like to show her face for her counselor's photos, but for the teacher who is going to use the photo during his speeches needs her identity (face) concealed.

Any ideas on where we go from here? She did make another background with all her new positive affirmations in bright colors. I sure would love any and all input. Thank you!!

I remember when you originally posted this image. Was powerful then, as it is now. Maybe my idea is too simple and basic, but with the nicely centered original, how about shooting an identically positioned "now" image, in color and showing positive body language and self worth words/comments, then do a split screen right down the middle?

    Thank you so much Ken!

I think you have a good idea. Do you have any thoughts about her body or face position? Maybe writing something positive on her hand too?

A creative powerhouse I am not, Jeta, so take these suggestions with a grain of salt!

I think her head needs to be uplifted, her expression exuding confidence with a hint of joy (ie, not a full smile) and her body in an unprotected form. Not so sure about what to write on her hand, maybe just a positive hand sign, like (but not exactly) the OK, thumbs-up or peace sign. Is there a hand signal that today's youth uses to convey they are cool and doing fine?

    LOL! You crack me up!

I'm going to talk to her and see what she thinks. She does all sorts of writing and is a musician, so naturally creative. I'm 52 and only know a few hand signs. They aren't very kind.

I'll be your age in another month, so am guessing we speak the same sign language!
