Is my wife the BEST or what?

I woke up Sunday morning (which was my birthday) and found this in the living room!!!

It's a Yamaha Silent Guitar SLG-100S and boy does it have a sweeeeeeet sound, especially when I plug it through my Tascam US-122 interface and use the Garage Band software effects on my Mac. I'm like a one-man band now, lol.

I've just recorded a "rough draft" of one verse and chorus of Nothing But The Blood that I and another member of the church are practicing for next Sunday, so I can get an idea of what my part will sound like. The two guitar tracks I recorded sound like a 12 string come down from heaven! I'm gonna have LOADS of fun with this guitar, thanks to my BETTER half.

Got my attention. Then I saw the photo. Hehehe. I've never even heard of, or seen, such a thing.

Congratulations on your new toy, and Happy Birthday brother!

Oh, and by the way, yes, your wife is the BEST!

Cool guitar! I never saw anything like it.

And your wife sounds awesome. Suprise guitar and she hasn't hassled you about putting the wood moldings up around the new wood floor...

Ha! My wife is great but she ain't letting me get away with anything. Those moldings have to be done this weekend!

Gosh, if I knew there was a way to upload an mp3 to the site I'd let you folks hear how nice this guitar sounds. Not that my guitar playing is anything great (which it ain't), but the guitar itself is saweeeeet!
