Well, finally I got a halfway okay shot of my town. As far as I know, no one knows that this view exists. At least, everyone I show it to asks how I afforded a private plane ride. ;)
You have to hike about 15 minutes up a steep gravel road in an overgrown clear cut south of town to see this- not for the out of shape (me included!). I shot it once before with some Ektachrome 100VS, but that film was so grainy I couldn't stand it. Excellent color but looked like 400. So I went back with some Provia 100F- waayyyy better. This is of course and as usual a crappy scan off my crappy scanner and badly edited with my lousy bundled software. But at least it's here.
