Canada Youth 2009 (56K Warning)

Over the past week I had a chance once again to attend the Canada Youth conference (CY09), the national youth conference for the Presbyterian Church in Canada. It takes place at Brock University in St. Catherines. Over the course of the week I was one of three photographers for the church's national Magazine, the Presbyterian Record.

It was an amazing time.

Monday


At least I know where to go!

Almost everyone is here now, well except for the East Coast people, there was apparantly a broken bus.


All gathered for worship.

Tuesday


Tuesday means Ice Cream for Breakfast.


Dancing at the Stump. Each morning we'd gather here to wake up!


I was in the Youth ministry branch (along with my photography duties), so as team building exersizes, we built trees from newspapers.


Rock and Tree, the two mascots for CY09.

Wednesday


Every morning there were optional devotion time, but the fog that morning more so called to my photography...

Thursday morning was our Sabbath time, Albertha here takes time to walk the Labyrinth at the Spirit Grove.

The funny part is that these two girl's grandmother called me (she used to go to my home church, but moved away) a week before hand telling me to look out for these two. She told them to look out for me, they were the ones that found me (After being told to "Look for the guy with the big camera").
