My pare time!

I always see my E500 through the viewfinder, not on this day. 92 deg. out, three hours of sleep and five hours before I had to go back to work. I spent 4 hours here at this fire. 37 firefighters fought to get this fire under control. After making entry three times and running support functions for the incoming fresh firefighters I took a break, got some water and put my E500 to work. Due to the high temps, no sleep and after 4 hours of work. I didn't make it to work last night, it was worth it.

I got 94 pictures at the fire I wish I could show you them all. I bet 20 or so are keepers. I put to work what the fire people here at PR have "learned" me (I love that "learned LOL). I got some killer portrait type photos and action shots.

I hope you don't expect Ruffus to work as hard as you when he's there. Being a fire fighter must be an exciting profession, thanks to you guys that are willing to take the risk involved. Now get some sleep.
