My "I love the 90's" moment

So today while I was doing my exercise, I listened to Prince. Yup that's right, and the cd's I have are from his butt-less pants era. And yes, I did say cds. I have two. Not something I'd admit to on a regular basis....

There is nothing quite like some early 90's prince. LOL! Add me to his list of fans - THEN - before he became a "symbol". ;)

You know, about two months ago I went to the Charlotte Airport to pick up my hubbie coming in from a business trip, and I *SAW* prince. He was in town for a concert... and I swear to you, without the platforms I don't think he tops 5'. LOL!

Well, if you are referring to the 80's, when Prince first became popular, then that would make you in your early 30's, right? Because I'm going to be 35 (next week! YIKES!) and he was REALLY popular when I was in 10th-11th grade. My personal favorite is "the Beautiful Ones" from the Purple Rain sountrack.

I knew it was the 80's cuz I graduated in 1990....

Sadly all i can relate Prince to was my eight grade dance and all the kids on opposite sides and no one dancing DORKS! he he

and a sad flash back to a scary outfit I owned rainbow colored squares against a flannel black plaid pants with SUSPENDERS with red rolled top leather boots ---ick... a miracle no one put me out of my misery....

And can you ever stop lovong Boy George...mmmmm

    Or George Michael!

That's O.K., when I was in 8th grade, "knickers" were all the rage. LOL!

Oh, and it seems that Middle School dances never change... my son goes to the dance, but he doesn't ever dance!

    ripe old age of 27

The first Prince cd I bought was the one where he was still Prince, but the name of the cd was the symbol that he later became

Then I went back and bought the Diamonds and Pearls one.
