    My first wedding. Halfway done.

This past Saturday I shot my first full wedding. Spent the whole day with the couple from the time they got their haircut to the reception. Everything went about as well as it could have gone I think. I do need a lot of work on formal poses and I kind of new that going in so I'l hae to get on that.

So far I've gone through and edited the images that I liked the most. Now I just need to go through and edit the rest. Hopefully this will lead the way to a few more weddings per year and some extra income in my bank account.

Here are a few to share:

Outside of shooting a reception for a friend this was my first. I've had some past experience working at a newspaper so documenting things I do have some ability at.

I just wish all your nice comments could take away from the sting of having my car stolen early this morning. Woke up to find it gone

It's already been recovered and has been stripped to just a shell of its once glory. R.I.P my Honda Civic. I remember taking photos of you the day I bought ya.

Wow - that's rough! Hopefully your insurance will be easy to deal with.

Keep shooting weddings like this and you won't have to worry about coming up with cash to buy a new car!! Seriously, do a couple more and build a portfolio. From what I've seen here, you'll be able to charge very well because of your style.

Beautiful work!! Can't say my first one went that well. The location wasn't the best. No outside pictures due to colder than heck December temps.

Getting the poses down takes a lot of work, but it looks like you've got something going!! I especially like the one with the bride poking her head out amongst the groom(smen).
