    My first DSLR pics...

Just took my new D70 downtown, and I must say, I like the results! Got any tips on how I could get the most out of my D70?

I think you've done a good job - you must already be familiar with using Photoshop, etc. Have you used a digital camera before? It's a lot like shooting slide film exposure-wise; it has to be right on for best results.

Curious - where is this? Looks like Denver in one of the shots.

    You're a funny guy Andy!

But why, pray tell, would anyone want to regress?

    ;-)

Hey, as a Nikon guy (Nikon Samurai # 1 to be precise), I've got to give the Canon guy a hard time. :-D

Thanks for the comments, guys. =) Before this, I used a Canon AE-1 Program and an Olympus 1.5 megapixel digital point and shoot. Talk about an upgrade eh? I learned how to use photoshop years ago, so the Olympus actually served me well for a good 5 years. The city I shot was San Jose, CA. I'm still getting the hang of the D70 - thanks for the tip about the slide film, I did notice that when I took a bracket of shots and one came out exceptionally good, but never really gave it a second thought. Now I know to pay more attention.
