    My favorite place for Peace

This spot is my favorite spot to watch a sunrise. There are usually campers and tents right were I stand and getting alone time is rare this time of year, but being Friday the 13th I guess campers were staying at home.
I could hear the doves nesting in the rocks below and ecohing out of the rocks. Look hard and you can see one by the little tree to the right. It was a very peaceful few minutes.

I see the dove. I've got a few places for 'peace' but they aren't so photogenic.
Beautiful scene, Greg. Thanks for sharing.

Re: My favorite place for Peace

This is a magnificent photo filled with beauty and peace. Thanks for sharing it. We need those peaceful moments - especially today.

I also have some places that bring me peace just being there. My favorite is the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA.

Greg, wonderful sunrise , we have seen this place before , I think, there was some graffiti on one of the rocks ... ?

    very nice composition

how much processing did you have to do to balance the highlights and shadows ?

The sky is as shot, I usually protect the highlights, and I brought up the shadows with fill light in Lightroom. Probably a good stop. The a850 has wonderful dynamic range. I had a couple of exposures that were close to good but had more flares to take out.

Nice shot and it looks like a great place. I have a few places I love to go to for some peace and one looks very similar to yours!
