I really like the capture of the face, but think that the left side is distracting. Try cropping off about half of the left side leaving just enough space to 'look in' to. Unlike the others so far, I think that the bokeh from this lens/setting is much too rough. - Terry

@Greg: Classic lenses on the NEX make it something completely different. I'm still learning how to use it effectively, but the MF aids are fantastic and the sensor really shines, so quirks are easy to look past.

@OldClicker: I appreciate the comments but couldn't disagree more. I'm all about negative space, and this is already feeling a little bit cramped to me. The roughness you describe comes from my post work and was fully intentional.

Very nice. I'm a big fan of classic Pentax glass too. What did it take to mount that on the Sony? Is it full manual then or do you get any aperture control? How does metering work?

Just search Amazon for a NEX to K-Mount adapter. Mine cost $20 I think. No electronic coupling whatsoever, so all aperture and focus is manual. Metering works just as it does with any lens, the meter and histogram stay perfectly functional.
