    My busted old Tom Cat

This is Sonic, my busted up old tom cat. My wife found this thing in a dumpster at her work, we brought him out to the country so he could live out the rest of his life in peace. Now he fights with every cat in the neighbor hood and loves every minute of it. He is a funny old cat but a member of the family none the less.

By the way, this was taken with my newly acquired Nikon D50. The lens was a kit Nikon lens from a D40.

Good shot and a lucky cat.....I have to cringe though, when I look at him, since I don't like kats.

I've had a couple of orange toms and they and I seemed to have have a mutual respect for each other. Both of them were cats the local dogs learned to leave alone, too.
    The shot makes me nostalgic.

Its a good thing cats seem to get over this sort of battle damage so quickly

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I have no issues with you editing my photos

Sorta reminds me of Big Red. Orange tabby about 25 lbs. He loved dogs, tried to eat at least one a week. A real lap cat when he wanted to be but owned the neighborhood.

My "fur kids" now are a bit smaller and gentler, but I will always share my home with feline partners. They do make the best of friends.
The world is full of people who can hear a loud bang, feel a sharp pain in their foot, notice smoke trickling from their holster........ And never put it all together.

Canon EOS Rebel XT DSLR; Canon EOS Rebel K2 35 mm SLR, Canon Powershot S5IS Compact; Canon Photura 35 mm P&S (Definitely not compact. Probably the best 35 P&S ever)
