    mtbbrian visits Nor Cal

mtbbrian is in the Bay Area for some training and on Saturday we took him out for some R&R. All photos were taken in and around Santa Cruz, CA. We had a good three hour ride and Brian was a champ. Not much opportunity to ride in the redwoods in Utah. After the ride I took him to downtown Santa Cruz to watch the freaks, hippies, and girls. Well - - I watched the girls

Ah, the bench in Dtown Santa Crew!

was the girl on the ladder there this time?? =)

I flew over your head today. on my approach to SFO. Now I'm out in Davis. Had I been closer I would have called.

Nice pic. but were are the shots of the redwoods??? Did you take Brian to "world cup"? I still have nightmares about that "trail".

    Talking LOL! Thanks John!

    I watched the girls too!
But there were quite a few freaks there too!
The Elf, the dancing woman, the bums.
    Thanks again for the ride!
It got me through last week and the memories of it will get me through this week!
Being here, is starting to bring me down!

I don't think we did "World Cup", but we did do "Sick and Twisted"!

I don't remember the girl on the ladder. Remind me, please.

We didn't ride World Cup when you were here. Did I take you there and show it to you? It's ridiculously steep. I can't remember the name of the last trail you and I rode. I have some sort of mental block. The kids who rode it in front of us thought it was called World Cup. But they were wrong. It's a good one, though.

    Re: girl

while we were having coffee on the bench there was the girls that were working the clothing store street display that were sitting on the top of an 8 foot ladder.

Re:world cup, we rode over to the top of it and looked down. when I fell on my butt and exclaimed that this was steep you informed me that I hadn't even gotten to the steep part yet. When I did WOW. and yes those kids had no idea what they were talking about.
