    Meet Sadie!

Last Thursday I caught a stray cat in a live trap and took it to the Humane Society.
While there, I made the mistake of looking at the dogs.
Aussie mix, they think she's about 3 yrs old, picked up as stray. She's a pretty good girl and quickly learned not to tug on a leash and that she can't sleep on the bed. Has a few other things to learn but I'm looking forward to teaching her. This won't be her best portrait but its what I have for now. Ok....everybody say Ahhhhh!

My aunt's dog is named Sadie too. Much smaller than your Sadie though!

She looks to be a doll

Ahhhhh! Thanks for giving her a home. That's a pretty 'lively' breed - hope she's started to calm down a little at three.

    Re: Meet Sadie!

She's actually less energetic than I thought she'd be and has pretty good manners though the jumping on furniture and bed had to be learned promptly. Might be the heat that's keeping her quiet 90s plus for over a week and that's not common here.
Visits the vet today for her wellness check so hope she gets a good grade.

Frog - Good for you for adopting such a sweet dog. I hope she does well at the vet's too. BTW (sorry, I forgot), but do you have any other pets?

    Oh I forgot something else..........

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    Re: Meet Sadie!

Ty, Liz. We have a cat that adopted us almost 15 years ago but we haven't seen much of her since Sadie arrived. I'm sure she'll be fine in a while when she finds out Sadie isn't going to chase her or anything.
