Oh man, these shots take me back. I've only been to the Maze District once, and I went without a camera. The shame. Can't wait to get back. Seems like it should be a breeze since I live on Colorado's Western Slope, but those messed up dirt roads make access something to think about. Still....maybe next season. Great shots. Looks like you had some great weather and I especially like the fourth photo. Thanks,
That first one is a spectacular pano. Beautiful job.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Awww, this is sad. Anthony died suddenly a couple of years ago, immediately after having one of his photos chosen as our sports photography featured photo. He was a great photographer, a great mountain biker, a real adventurer and he was loved by everyone who came in contact with him.

I knew Anthony and rode with him a couple of times. Such a nice guy and a great photographer! He also inspired me to step up my photography and start schelpping a SLR around on my mountain bike.
I did this crazy 9 Hr. deathmarch ride with him once near Delta, Co. The mud got so thick and sticky we could stand our bikes up as if they had kickstands right in the road. Some of the people were bonking and kind of freaking out and his sense of calm really helped us keep it together. Good times!
Thanks for posting, Matt. I never got to meet Anthony. But I loved his big travelogue photo posts on Mtbr.com and I was really psyched when he started posting here. He had such a good eye and such a passion for photography, cycling and the outdoors. The week he got the sports featured photo I kept wondering why he didn't reply to all the comments. And then I found out why.
Life is too short. Get out there and do something!
