    The "magic button"

    I stumbled on to this on Thanksgiving day. I set the camera up on an endtable (hadn't brought my tripod) sat down on the couch and called my four year old nephew over. Sitting him in my lap, I gave him the Canon RC5 remote control and told him if he "pointed the magic button at the camera and pushed itit would take a picture of us all by itself."

    I don't think I've ever gotten such natural poses from the lad when he knew his picture was being taken. He was so intrigued by the magic button, he completely forgot to ham it up. We did a whole slew of photos in one sitting (you can imagine). Here's just one of the results:


    I thought I'd pass the idea along to those members that have small children.

    Good idea and cute photo.
    I'll have to try it with my grandkids. They turn into hams as soon as they see the camera.
