    Lunch With Obama

Well, me and several thousand others! I decided to take a long lunch last Friday to see Barack Obama when he stopped in Columbus, Ohio. Politics usually frustrate me but I thought this would be an opportunity to get more involved. The weather was beautiful, the crowd was energetic, and the speeches were pretty inspiring. I don't know what kind of President Obama might make but he definitely has a commanding presence about him and knows how to deliver a speech! Enjoy!

Nice photos. Sounds like a good time. I'd enjoy seeing either candidate speak, just because it's a part of history. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of campaigning in Texas.

I'd get photos if either ever campaigned in the Pacific Northwest too.
Strange but from everything I've seen of these rallys on tv, it appears that the only people that show up are there only to cheer or protest and not to learn anything. This is at both candidates rallys.

Thanks for looking! I don't know how many people were there to learn anything but, for the most part, the crowd was quiet and attentive. I was surprised the only protesters I saw were the Pro-Life group that seem to be at every event in Columbus.
