I wouldn't worry much about your shooting with 400iso film, Eric. Remember my horse picture? That and the others of my first b/w roll of film was shot using Kodak 400cn. And my Canonet only has a max shutter of 1/500th. The polarizer, however, will bring your exposure down about 1.5-2 stops. Something to keep in mind when shooting with one. I use it on my DRebel when I want to saturate the sky, reduce glare, or give the clouds a little contrast from the sky, like my shots of Morongo Casino. I don't care much for using it to shoot people, though. But it will come in handy on the Canonet when I start to use it for landscape shots.
Oh, by the way, Eric...if you're ever in Redlands stop by Empire Camera on Alabama St., just half a mile south of the I-10 after you exit. They've got lots of good stuff in there and I guarantee you won't walk out without buying something. Oh wait...that's the way it is no matter what camera shop I go into.![]()
