Paul, the small (2-3 inch) stickers/ads on the top cars in these series sell for about $50,000.

There are now some more photos in the gallery and comments in my blog. Nothing terribly spectacular (action and wrecks in Sports) but way too many yellow flag laps this year.

There is certainly a significant element of auto racing that I feel you are correct that this represents.
