    Life Among the Dandelions

Joy and I took a little field trip/shopping trip Saturday afternoon to Lexington. With the Derby coming up next weekend I thought this was kind of appropriate to post today. This was a scene I stopped to shot on the way home at about 8 PM, light was fading fast, but hope I got something. I'm a real sucker for dapple gray horses always loss my shirt on them at the track

Thanks Tim. I had to find a place to park the car off the road and walk back some distance for this shot. By the time I did that the light that was on the scene had change and I didn't get what I had hoped for. It was late evening and the setting sun was going in and out from behind clouds. I had hoped for one of those golden moments, but you play the hand that is dealt. At any rate I think I ended up with something that was close but not exactly what I had in mind.
