last picture post for a while: graduation

My sister-in-law, Mirella, is graduating college this year and she wanted a picture to send with her invitations. I chose the first picture for her invitation and the others were just for fun.

The first one is great for the inventation, nice close on the subject, good crop to. I really like the angle on the last one, with her standing near what *looks* like an old school house.

Thank you Axle and Almo! I actually shot these at Heritage Park in Santa Fe Springs (something I forgot to mention before).

Almo, she majored in marketing (of all things!). Actually, she wants to work for Disney and has been interviewed twice in the past but nothing has yet materialized. They really liked her and hopefully one day she'll get her foot in the door.

Here are a couple more that I've processed tonight using Hodgy's Softar action, and a redo of the first pic using the same action.

Number one is great! She has a very happy smile, not forced, but very genuine.

Yeah, I'm trying to push her for number one now (from the second set), which she's yet to see. As it stands she's chosen #3 from the first set. She likes that one because it seems more "happy" that she's graduating. But I have my reservations about it. Anyway, it'll really be up to her to choose, so I'll let ya know what she decides when she decides it.
