Was trying to nail down some clamshell style ligting for an upcoming series of head shots for our dance team seniors and came up with these. SB800 on a boom through a shoot through, Old Sunpak PZ5000 in a westcot Xsmall softbox for the fill at a 1 to 1 ratio. Gold reflector above for hair light and small Sunpak PZ4000 with a lumiquest snoot as a slight rimlight to camera left. One is my neighbors son, two my daughter and cat and three is me with the remote dialing in the exposure. The background is a bright white muslin that I was too lazy to steam out. My daughter and I worked out the scheme and shots in between study sessions. D200 with Tokina ATX Pro100mm and 28-70/2.8, ISO 100, 1/125 and f/10.

the little lad in number 1 is really good seems to be "warm" i don't know whether or not that is what you are looking for ...

2 i think is really good too, but maybe not in black and white. her braces stick out too much maybe would be less in colour..

i dunno...

something that i am looking towards doing too, so c & c would be a help for me as well..

Thanks, one is a little warm as per the Mom's request. Two is pretty close to how I see the world, since I don't see any color. Sorry about three, I busted the ugly filter on that one.
