Just a few to introduce myself with...

Hi everyone, here are a few recent pics by me.

Two monkeys in a thoughtfull pose.

    A stack(?) of monkeys?

A wonderfull sunset viewed from my home.

My son Ryan, tried to give a "old" feel to this.

    Love this little guy!

    A little Robin.

    My daughter, Kaitlyn.

This fella was having a great time in the undergrowth!

I havent been in photography for very long, but im improving every time. One day i hope to be good at it. All these pictures were taken on an outing to celebrate my sons 4th birthday, and having a new DSLR was great for the occasion. Now i am bitten by the bug and have found a whole new world to enjoy.

    Gary.

welcome gary. for some reason i can't view your pictures at work (shakes fist at IT department), and will view them when i get home.

photography is lots of fun and consumes me at times. what greater bug could there be to be bitten by?
Happily photographing within my camera's limitations.Website

    Hello Gary,

Welcome and Congrats on the new DSLR. I look forward to seeing more of your work as you get back into photography. Take a look around and ask questions when you have them, there are a lot of helpful people here so don't be afraid to ask.

What kind of photography do you like to shoot? What kind of DSLR did you get?

    James

BTW the pictures loaded just fine.

    Hi James!
My camera is a Sony A-230(10.2MP), Sony 3.5-5.6/18-55mm SAM lens, and a Sigma 1.4-5.6/70-300mm DG Macro. My main interest is in Military aircraft (airshow photography), but since looking through the viewfinder, i also now like landscapes, sunsets, wildlife....the list goes on! A DSLR really opens up a whole new world!

    Gary.

That's great to hear about airshow photography, I like to go to the Chicago Air Show and take pictures.

Well have fun and enjoy the new camera.

    James
