    Jonathan Richman take 2

Since my batch of Jonathan Richman photos from a few years ago came out so horribly, I jumped at the chance to redeem myself. (Oh yeah, he's not bad either.)

I used Ilford Delta 32000 (now my standard 'club' film) @ 6400 and 28-80mm zoom (close to the stage.)

Nice shots - it's very difficult to come away with something good shooting in a very dark club, but you did it!

It was pretty dark, but pushing the film two stops worked, I wish the back of his head was lit, I hate the 'floating head; look,

I think I used a rear curtain flash for most of them but a lot of the shots were around 1/45 and my flash synchs at 1/90--plus you don't have to worry about a lot of movement during a mostly acoustic show. I'm fairly pleased; they're a little soft, though.

Very nice. The harsh contrast is excellent and I love the angles you selected.

    Well done,

    Jared
