Okay, I know these aren't sports photographs but this is the only forum I post to and you guys are the only ones that know me and if I posted this someplace else people would think I'm nuts.
I know you're going to be extremely jealous of this assignment I was given this morning.
I went to a dairy farm in southern Wisconsin that has over 3,000 dairy cows and they produce alot of milk. The assignment was about how they recycle waste materials (yes, here it comes) thereby, saving money and the enviroment.
In the first photo we have the happy dairy cow that eats plenty of food every day. Of course, all these cows produce alot of waste and I mean alot of waste. In photo two the waste is dumped into a pit where it is sent through a series of filters, pipes, etc. and then into a press. In photo three it shows the waste where all of the liquid has been squeezed out. The waste, which is now a nice fertilizer, gets shipped out where it is spread over fields while the water from the waste is recycled through a series of filters to the point where it is potable again and can be seen in the before and after photo number four.
Amazing operation that saves a bundle and is very green so the farm should be commended.
The problem now is.......anyone know how to get the smell out of my 1D Mark IIN???
