    I've been published!

Unfortunately, it's not about my photography but in a baby diary column for Sainsbury magazine. I had to take shots of 3 families, for the articles and they were looking for another family, to write about "eating out at restaurants". I volunteered for that article and got Gina to take my picture for that one. A couple of people told me they had spotted me in there.

And, all be it in small print, my name is up the side of the page

If anyone in the UK is looking out for the magazine they won't find it in the shops. It's one of those free mailed magazines and you would have had to tick the "under 4's" box when applying for the magazine.

    But hey, I'm happy!

    Re: I've been published!

I'm a little unclear here, did your photographs get published? If so great, be sure to include the story in your portfolio.

Everything starts small and grows one step at a time. It sounds like this was a nice first step.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: I've been published!

Yes, my photographs got published too.
    Confusing I know.

There are 4 articles, all of which I provided photographs for. One of the articles is also on me but its not about my photography.

Great job, I was asked to go shot the Newark city prom but I couldn't. I do freelance work here and there. I love to see my work in the paper.

Congrats Alison! I'm sure I'm echoing the thoughts of a few others here by saying "It's about time!"...LOL Don't suppose the articles are available anywhere online?

    Re: I've been published!

Unforunately not Aaron, but, I can show you pictures I took of the articles.

The front cover of the magazine. NOT my photograph though. This is just to show you what magazine I am featured in.

Below, is the lady that hired me. She also writes the baby diary columns. The photograph of her holding her son is by me. click here to see a larger version

The photograph of the Mum holding her baby girl, on the left of the page is by me again.
The photograph on the right of the page is ME! lol, with my 2 babies. Photo taken by Gina.
click here to see a larger version

And, lastly this was the largest photograph of mine that they used for the "Post Natal Depression" article.
If you click the link to see the larger file you will see my name written sideways, up the left hand side of the page.
