been a busy month speaking at seminars and such. While I was In Toronto this past weekend for the Photo Expo, I picked up a small Canon Powershot 3.5mp camera.
On the way home yesterday I put it to the test.
Thing with P&S camera's is that you really need to get the best image in camera as possible. I found myself using the viewfinder instead of the lcd, shooting in manual mode so I can adjust depth of field faster, and I alwasy checked my histogram, and White balance. I discovered what it felt like when you first get into photography. I had so much fun yesterday, and saw things that I probably wouldn't have shot with all my big gear.
Who says you cannot get great images with P&S? It goes to show, the fundamentals in photography never change, only technology.
Here are some from yesterday. I increased sat in a few for the fall colors, and did some custom burning.
