It's Here! It's Here! My D200 Has Arrived!

It came a few minutes before noon! I am so happy!

I've already put a 512 CF card in it, and taken a few shots of my lovely wife. I can hardly wait to play with it after work. Too bad it's suppose to rain all weekend here.

Now I need that 2 gig CF card, and I may be getting a used SB-800 next week. The photographer selling it needs it for this weekend, but hopefully, I'll get it early next week.

Did I mention that I'm a happy man?!!!

Last night I had my new camera around my neck just because....didn't even take pictures.

BTW, what lens will you be using with it? Forgive me if I should know what lenses you use already (I only remember CANON lenses). Can you use your other lenses with the D200?

I'm curious as to why this one would be on your list. I thought you had a quite a bit of an investment Canon. Are you thinking about switching? If so, I will send you my address, and I'll take that Canon crap off your hands....

If you want any tips/pointers/quirk advice from about as seasoned as the D200 users get, give me a shout.

I'm loving the D2HS, too. Prints very well for 4mp, though for big prints I will probably whip out the D200 as well. Neither will be my 'main' camera, each is too good to be relegated to second fiddle.
