It's here!! 5 yrs. of waiting.........

for Minolta to come out with the digital body and I finally own a 7D. It was a no brainer for me with quite a few lenses and accessories. it seems to perform as advertised. Focus is accurate and quick. It seems to produce color quite accurately too. Here's just a few random shots I took last night (had to shoot something with it). Tried all of my lenses and A.S. Does work as billed. So how many 7D users on this board so far? Am I a posse of one? And also....I think I could be an alcoholic! Peace all, Scooter

Congratulations on your new camera. So, were you testing the internal image stabilization ability of the camera after a few gulps of brew? -Sorry couldn't resist, hehehe. I know you were just celebrating the new toy with a toast of brewski.

LOL! Maybe a little of both! It was just a little embarssing that every shot had alcohol in it. We were just celebrating Tuesday I guess. ;) If I ever stop the 12 hour workdays and see sunlight I'll try and change the subject. Need time to shoot now!

    Congrats!
It's about time Minolta got on the bandwagon before they alienated their loyal following.
I'm a Canon user but I've looked at reviews of the new 7D and it looks like a solid piece of kit. I'm sure it will perform well for you.
    Nice shooter glass.

P.S. Clean socks - smart move.

We got a whole set of shot glsses from Bed Bath & Beyond, Sauza, Baileys, and so on. I'm a Cuervo guy myself. I digress....anyway. I'll be sure to post a review after I've used it more.

While I am a bird nerd... greygoose is french ;) good, but french

Thor's Hammer is pretty good(had it in a screwdriver twice) , but SVEDKA is smoother and cheaper than ABSOLUT . Cost is low due to hardly any advertisements.

I would put GG slightly above svedka/ absolut, with STOLY ruling in the under $60 game. 3VODKA is SOY and yummy too.

A 1.5 ML of svedka is $19 , while absolut is $32 and GG and stoly above $40. Don't forget SKYY too Mixed drinks don't need a PREMIUM vodka, yet I assure you SVEDKA is smooth enough to get your drink on with ;)

    Re: Tequila actually....

Herradura Aejo Tequila I consumed a mass quantity of tequila in my youth. Herradura, absolut, cap'n morgan, 1800, 151, were my DAILY drivers

I am a social infrequent drinker now BY CHOICE , but if you are gonna do it... do it with the GOOD STUFF

Sorry to turn this into an AA MEETING ;)

I've got a bottle of bacardi and Bushmills that are still around from my wedding 23 years ago that both still have plenty left. We haven't driven each other to drink yet I guess.

    You're right......

Those are my girlfriends legs/feet. I'm a mountain biker and I work at a steel foundry so the words white and socks are never used in the same sentence by me.

    Nice caveat.

Having leftovers from 23 years ago is incredible!

    And congratulations on 23 years!
