    I'll know I've made it when...

    I stop posting 'but' photos....you know-- "Great shot, but..."

    Did anyone else ever feel that way?

    Trust me...your never going to get a perfect picture to please everybody on this forum. You may have a great shot, but it will never ever, ever be fully liked by everybody.

    But that's why I love photography...cause I love a challenge

    Aye...there's the rub.
    I forget that sometimes. I think the key is to not be in love with everything I post, and look at it from someone else's viewpoint. Just do the best I can from start to finish and let the chips fall where they may.

    That's great! Every once in awhile, it's good to look at old work just to see what you've learned and see where you're going. I've got old stuff that will never be seen here...

    Don't worry about a bad critique here and there. I usually look for a lot of people with similar comments - that's probably a more accurate way of telling if something works or not. It's always good to feel like you're progressing over all though!
