I made it in someone's bathroom!

I was kind of excited. Someone spied this photo on another site (non-photography) of mine and asked to buy it. Me being me I gave it to her for free, but I was excited to see my work framed and matted in a home that isn't mine.

Here's the actual photo. Some of you may have seen it in the critique forum.

    It's not blurry. It's bokeh.

Well I have to admit JETA your title sure got me to look at this thread. Wasn't sure what I was going to see. At any rate congrats on getting hung. Always nice to see your work appreciated by others.

OMgosh!!!!!!! I just reread my title. I should have been born blonde. I honestly didn't mean it to sound that way. I just told my husband what my title is and he's cracking up & shaking his head.

If it were any one else I really would have wondered JETA. I sure got a kick out of that title when I read it. It's so easy not to see what others think is so obvious sometimes.

I wouldn't worry too much JETA. I never heard of someone being congratulated for being hung, either.

Besides, I have to admit it IS a catchy title !!!

It's always nice to know that your work is appreciated though. Well done.

I was expect some toilet shots....but that's just my sick mind.

Very cool on having your photo in someone else's home, even if it is in the bathroom, just think now everyone will see your beautiful work while making something else in said bathroom.

It'll be interesting to see how many views this thread gets, with a title like that. Congrats, anyway. However, you'll never be able to save up for another lens if you continue giving away your art.

The more I think about it, we need a category in PR.com annual awards for "Thread Title of the year". I think we have a winner! Still like that shot, too!

That's great Jeta! I too am hanging in someone's bathroom and it's a great feeling. A few weeks ago, I sold 3 eagle photos to a couple from out of state to decorate their bathroom with. Congratulations!

People hang my pictures....when they see me coming they say quick get that dumb shot John gave us and put it up. That's really cool, Jetta!
