    I love this image

    AND IT'S NOT A BIRD!!!!!!!!

On monday October 4th I became a REAL UNCLE!!!!! I am happy beyond words!

My brother Bill's wife had a HUGE baby boy named Jack. He was 9 pounds 6 ounces!! She is still bed ridden from him too ;)

With my work schedule I have very little time to go birding, take images or even spend time with family, BUT I found time to see Jack twice last week and even got a few images!!!
He is peeling all over his face, but I must admit that he is still the a cutey none the less I can't wait to teach him birds and take him out shooting! LOOK OUT world, Jack is going to be a famous bird photog some day!!

Here is a grab shot of my brother Bill talking to jack from last thursday.

Congratulations Uncle Paul! Very exciting time in your life!

Your baby nephew is beautiful.......absolutely! I hope he looks a little....or a lot like his uncle.

The photo is fine. Very sharp with great color. Nice looking family!

Thanks for sharing him with us, Paul, and I hope you see him often. Hey! please......please post a picture of you and the baby........

    Re: I love this image

Liz.... He has my brother's cleft chin and as with ALL babies still has blue eyes His head is rediculously cone shaped still, but hopefully it rounds out soon!

He was a week over due, so I guess that's why he's so wrinkled in some areas and is peeling on his face?

As to images of Jack with me...

I hate images of myself and my brother tried to take images of us, but they are so blurry I deleted them(I guess photography isn't inherant after all)

Seriously though..... that is a quick point / click of him saying " hey buddy" to his sleepy son before we laid him down to sleep.

    Cool facts....

He likes me better than anyone else in the family I think? He kept him eyes closed until I held him in the hospital. Once I took him he started making faces and smiling ! He tries to dance(well not really) only when Bill, Carolann(his mom) or I hold him !

I was the lucky one to get his first diaper filled in my lap too.... I changed it also ;)

    Wowee!!!

    Uncle Paul! Sounds nice.

Nice shot, but i get the distinct feeling he is about to take a nice big bite out of the apple, so to speak...

Grads Paul, great looking little (big) boy. Tell your brother I love that name. As you may remember my new grandson's (4 1/2 months now) name is Jack. He and his Mom are spending the week with us and he is full of new tricks. Great to have them here.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Thanks for the replies everyone!

    Let's face it though...

That isn't that great of an image as a whole, but it is a GREAT memory image!
