I learned some sad and shocking news today

I found out before today's Southwest Michigan Devil Rays ball game that the team photographer passed away suddenly yesterday. She was in her early 30's, and although details are sketchy, nonetheless it really struck home, as we often compared notes and discussed photography. It made me realize that you can never take things for granted in life. Although the team chose to use her over me, I'm so glad I was able to help when she asked, and didn't let anything stand in the way of our relationship as fellow photogs. I'll miss seeing her around the ballpark.:sad:

Very true. You never know what is going to happen and who you are going to lose. At least you were able to work beside her while she was here and hopefully you learned from her before her passing.
