I never had any luck scanning negatives with my Acer 2720s film scanner. I decided that since I've gotten a little better with scanning slides I should probably try negs again. Here's a sample from Kodak T400CN taken awhile back (on top of the pile, anyway). It's an old well pump at a park.
I'll have to try some prints this way and get back into "real" b&w. No grain reduction or sharpening, etc. I think it looks pretty good, especially compared to the last time I tried it. I had a big problem with other 400 speed films with grain, and shifts on color negs. I'll have to see how Tri-X looks.
