I guess this means NO then

It doesn't say no entry though, but would anyone try it ?
I think at Hoover Dam they would have a sense of humour failure

In his book "Access All Areas" Ninj discusses the risk to reward ratio. Sure the reward for some of the cool things you could see past that fence is pretty high.

However think of the risk? Do you really want to risk terrorism charges, or getting shot?

I have gone into a few govt owned areas that said "No Trespassing" to get and explore some interesting sites, but these were abandoned buildings and entry was not much more than walking in through an unsealed door or climbing through a first floor window. They were what I would consider "low level security areas" and I was not all that concerned with the consequences. Once I was caught and escorted out with a warning, I called it quits.
This place you have here looks like a high risk area to me. I think Axle is right here in that the risk would not be worth a bunch of cool shots.

I wonder what a box of donuts and a thermos of hot coffee would do for the right security guy if you just wanted a quick access to a specific spot. (In my best Homor Simpson voice "Hmmmm Donuts....") Probably nothing but if you could demonstrate your seriousness with a portfolio you might have along....

That's a better bet in the right situation. I don't think that even a portfolio and cream filled eclairs would get you into restricted areas at Hoover Dam though - but a portfolio might help at a privately owned facility or a less secure area. I've wandered past no trespassing signs before and agree it's a "risk vs benefit" thing. Generally I don't do it.
