    I got flowers!

    Dh brought me some home the other day, for no reason at all. Well, they are on thier last leg, so I picked them apart and photographed them.

    What a nice surprise from your husband! And you certainly gave them some new life! These images are great, really great! My favorite is No. I - with No. 3 almost a tie.

    Thanks guys. I'm really loving the last, the black and white. I'm just trying to shoot more, something other than little people...stretch my box, in a manner of speaking....

    Those are beautiful photos, Adina. I like the lighting. I should try bring some flowers into the studio and getting creative. These photos are inspiring.

    Steve, I think you're confused. John should be buying them for you!

    Regarding the setup...the flowers were picked apart, stuck in a cheap vase one at a time, balanced on a box in front of my window, which faced the direction the sun was coming from. Played with the exposures and angles, minor adjustements in Lightroom, a bit of dodging and burning in photoshop.
