I don't drink too much beer!

I am an avid craft beer enthusiast, and I have quite a nice collection of beer caps. The other day I was in the mood to do some still life stuff and I came up with these.

Opinions are always welcomed. As for the second I plan to reshoot at night to avoid all those pesky reflections. Do you guys feel it would be a worthy image?

no need to wait until night, that wouldn't help anyway. You need to tent it, surround it with a white sheet or cloth or fabric and let it be illuminated through that fabric. That will also get rid of those small specular highlights around the top.

There's no such thing as too much beer. But yes, you should drink more.

If one has got to drink beer, it's worth drinking the best

I agree. See that cap in the middle, with all the emphasis on it? That is from Stone Brewery's Arrogant Bastard. That is one of the best beers on the planet!

My favorite session brews are Guinness Draught, in the nitro can, and probably Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I don't like to spend too much on a session beer. $10 a six pack max. Craft brews, for me, are usually done one or two at a time. They can get really expensive; especially when you start buying true English pints and bombers. Not to mention specialty brews like imperial stouts, triple abby ales, imperial IPAs, and the like.

I reshot my beer caps the other night. I took the advice of a friend and changed the lighting and DOF.
