Question How do you get ratings??

Hi, have had a fair amount of views on my pictures but as yet only one picture has been rated and no-one seems to leave any comments...

Is this normal for this site, or are my pictures just averagely normal and not worth commenting on?

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Scott

    Hi Scott,

I wouldn't say either is true. I just posted a bunch of pictures last night and haven't had a single comment on them yet but there have been about 27 views. And I've been on this forum for nearly 3 years now. Sometimes the forum moves so fast that new posts get shoved down below where they're easily lost in the multitude of posts. In fact, I don't even recall seeing your post now that I think of it.

If it's feedback you're looking for, you should probably start off in the critique forum. Although, I think things move there a lot quicker than here.

Nice to have you aboard. Stick around for a while and keep posting. Eventually someone's gonna comment.

If you are referring to gallery post I think it is pretty typical to not get a lot of ratings. I for one look at lots of images but just don't believe in ratings. If an images moves me than I will comment on it. I think Ray is right if you want feed back try posting in the critque forum there are a lot of good people there with lots of good advice.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
