    Hello Everyone

Hello my name is Kim and I am Ken1953's better half . I am new to this and am anxious to get my first photo on here, as you already know Ken got me this for Valentines Day but really I think he just used this as an excuse so he could buy yet another new camera!!! Hopefully I will get some good tips to get me started on my new journey and hopefully new career. Thank you Kim

That's a very nice old barn. But I'm not sure it's the best Valentine's Day gift. Maybe Ken needs some gift coaching ;)

Welcome Kim. I have driven past that barn a thousand times, and never thought to take a pic of it. I might have to give it a try next time I go to Madison.

    Re: Hello Everyone

Welcome Kim, nice to have you with us. My wife Joy has been taking pictures for years. I got her a Nikon Nikkormat way back in the mid 70's, and now she uses my Fuji S602Z, but I still can't get her to post. Hope you do better at this PR thing than she has.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Hi Adina...Yeah...u missed it...I posted the winner in the Digital DSLR forum...after looking at the various cameras at Camera Company...she fell in love with the Pentax *ist DL . So I didn't wait and got it for her. However, "I" am still interested in your 10D when you get ready. You ought to see her...she's like a kid in a toy store...especially when the grandkids are around....I'm already jealous cuz she's already taking better pics than me!!! hehe...The pic above was on our way home from buying it. The only thing that I did for her was to crop it in PS CS2. Everything else was hers as I was driving and couldn't help much, except to urge her to take pictures of everything in sight.
She got some real nice pics of the grandkids today that I hope she'll work on and post soon. I'm trying not to do the work for her, because I tend to take over and do it all which doesn't help her. A bad habit I've been trying to break for 2 decades... hehe
Anyway...keep looking for her posts...she can use all the encouragement she can get...as can we all!!! hehe...
