    HDR of the Lake

I don't do many as they never seem to come out. But this one is nice. D800, 17-35mm.

    Nice.

I'm with you, in that sunsets seem to be such good candidates for HDR, with that giant fusion reactor overloading at one end, and then black shadows in the foreground, but most of my own HDR attempts to balance that end up washing out the sky instead of just bringing up the shadows, and showing halos all over whatever's on the horizon. I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that the posts in the foreground were pretty much silhouetted if the sky was properly exposed.

I like this shot. It worked well.

You are close to right. There was enough detail for me to focus though.
