    Haven't been around in ages...

been busy with work, kids, photography etc. Thought i'd give a quick update (seeing as you asked Old Timer ;) )

For the most important. The camera I won recently, the company allowed me to upgrade so I chose a Fuji S5 Pro... and I'm loving it!

For those who know Australia's geographics, we are living in Victoria about an hour south of Melbourne and are moving to Mount Isa about 8 hours west of Brisbane. So from a beach to isolation, it's going to be a real 'sea change'!! So we are busy organising getting teh house sold etc, busy times ahead!

Kids are doing great! Ds onlly has one more year of Uni and he becomes a qualified teacher, dd is studying nursing, and youngest is going well in G3. Not much more to say here.

Me, I have just had shoulder surgery a couple of weeks ago and am going under the knife again for hip surgery in another week. Both arthroscopy, both needed repairs to tears and arthritic joints! So, atm I'm totally out of action when it comes to photography. I'm not at work, I'm not even doing housework.. actually, that's the best bit! I'm missing the camera though, badly. I picked it up the other day, took 2 photos and put it down again suffering Not happy Jan

My husband is going for knee arthroscopy as well, he has a meniscle tear. He goes in next month so we're both in the wars for sure.

Not much else to say really. I'll share a couple of pics from the Isa just to show you what the outback town it really is!

That's about it from me. I hope you're all doing well here. Sorry I'm not much of a contributor, up until this surgery my life has been just one hectic pace

Hang in there Tink. It's good to hear from you. Sounds like you've got your hands full with recovery and all.

Hopefully you'll be able to post more shots of the outback. It looks like a great big photo op to me.

You are an amazing photographer. After seeing the shots you posted, I checked out your website. I will say a prayer for you and your family. If you have trouble getting around, try an extension tube and macro photography. I just really like your photographs. I think there are alot of women in the world who never get the opportunity to express their artistic vision. It is a fact that makes the world a colder, less love filled place.
