    It has SPRUNG!!

Went to get my car inspected yesterday in one of the ugliest sections of Raleigh. But all around the station, the trees were flowering so while I waited, I clicked. Anyone else want to share their first images of Spring?

Yes, spring has sprung indeed. We've been waiting 5 weeks now for our indoor orchid to bloom, and finally it has done just that. This was shot indoors at 400 ISO, no flash. Canon DRebel, Sigma 28-80.

LOL! Well, here it was a balmy 68 and I have no flora or fauna pix. But here is a pic of my daughter making sand angels at a Mobile Bay "Beach" this morning at about 10:00 am. Not the best pic but she'd been playing hard and the others are of her feeding ducks.

The azaleas are already loosing their blooms and the tulips are about spent...daffodils came and went over a month ago for those brave souls that plant them down here. We've been in the mid 70's for a bit.

Yesterday I was thinking Spring was here with the sun shining and the temp in the 40's. It was beautiful out! Today, as you can see from Ken's pics, we got about 5" of snow. I was ready for spring because I'm tired of looking at all the brown and greys, but now that it's all covered with the white stuff, I don't mind.

    The flower pics are gorgeous!

My daughter and I went for a walk today and came across some teeny tiny flowers, and she had to pick some. This is all I've gotten though for flower pics so far...

Yeah, we got about 3 inches of "spring" here today... ;)

I'm not shoveling. It's a matter of principal.

Besides getting the same 3 inches of "spring" that AV got, I also got to shoot a 7 car pileup that happened right in front of me on my way home from an assignment. Luckily, everyone was ok.
